i bought some aspirin but i read the back and it is for colds, flu and whats not. it also says that not to have teens or children take it, it could give them a reyes syndrome! and i heard if you keep this on long enough that it sokes into you blood stream. should i use this as a mask or no?

did i buy the wrong kind of tablets?

    HELPPP !

carley> hi there. as far as i know aspirin is a painkiller, usually used to treat fever/ fever caused by cold. dont think you should worry about it soaking into your bloodstream coz u’re not consuming it, in fact you’re just applying it on the surface of your skin… i personally dont think its possible for the medication to soak into your capillaries then into your blood vessels so… dont worry okay!!! DO consult ur parents and if they dont have a clue, always consult a pharmacists! just incase…

just a friendly reminder, try using 1 tablet first to test if u’re allergc to it, then slowly increase to 2-3 tablets (max) ok? and do it on alternate days/ 2-3 times a week (depending on ur skin condition)

    good luck🙂

so, I learned about aspirin in my biochem class and I straight away think of u. It can block 1 pathway which creates prostagladin which is the thing which cause inflammatory. That is why taking aspirin can reduce acne. But, not consume too much. It blocks other pathway as well. but a little amount will be alright i guess…
